whole foods cookbook?

Hi all, new here. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a cookbook that focuses on whole foods, and even better, one that does so while trying to accomodate busy people on a budget? I know that's a lot to ask--anything in the ballpark would be much appreciated!

    Hi Ariana,
I have been interested in whole foods for a while and I reciently came across a book called "Healing with Whole Foods" by Paul Pitchford.... This book has been around for a while you might be able to find it in a 2nd hand store. This book has some interesting recipes and is very informative in the ways of Chinese healing with whole foods. The book talks about season changes and heat and dampness, to name a few, which are very important to traditional Chinese medicine. I have learned a lot from this book. I am fasting right now with the help of this book. You should check it out. Many people consider this book the bible to understanding whole foods. Good Luck!!

Hey I know this post is from a while ago but check out Sally Fallon Nourishing Traditions. She focus on whole foods and educates you along the way about processed foods etc. Her recipes usually take some pre planning beacause she also teaches you to do it yourself from scratch. I just love this book.
If you are on a budget then whole foods are great, you don't have to buy packaging.
    Peace and Blessings
