Carb Confused????? Please help

How many carbs are we allowed to consume on a daily basis? I'm 5'2 and I really let myself go :( I use to weigh 105 and now I weigh 130 :( I had a baby about 4 years ago and I gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy. I've lost about 40 of those pounds in 4 years but I'd still love to weigh 105 or 110. Any suggestions? I do exercise 3 days a week. I love jogging and cardio. I also changed the way I eat and what I eat. Does anyone have any info on sugar levels too? I hear they play a vital role in a persons weight.

    the fda says our dialy intake of carbs should be around 200-300 grams.... but we all know they've been wrong before. From what little research I've done, it seems your brain needs about 100 grams a day, the fewer refined carbs, the better.

    Its not so much carbs as what kind of carbs. The BEST thing you can first do is reduce..eliminate the white stuff..white sugar and ANYTHING made with it and white flour and ANYTHING made with it.
    move to the veggies and fruits and very lean protein. Be glad to help more...let me know
