I just want to hear others opinion on this since i've cut dairy out of my diet (or at least working on it). I LOVE eggs every once in awhile, especially for protein.
What's your take on that?

Re: Are eggs really considered dairy?
Thu, April 19, 2007 - 2:55 PMI don't consider eggs dairy. My guess is that they might be lumped in with dairy for cholesterol reasons. But they are excellent for protein, and since I don't eat much meat, I am inclined to have a couple each week rather than resort to weird egg-like substitutes just to avoid the cholesterol...

Re: Are eggs really considered dairy?
Fri, April 20, 2007 - 8:46 AMThank you. I had this feeling that they were just put in with dairy since they're another by-product of an animal. i'm trying not to eat meat as much as I do and I love eggs for that reason.
